How to resolve installation problems

If installation problems exist after trying couple of times then please shut down your phone and restart it.
  • “Certificate error. Contact the application supplier” when installing applications

  • When we see the above message then the problem is that your application manager settings does not allow to install self signed application.
    To allow the self signed application you can do the following,
    Goto Tools -> App. mgr -> Options -> Settings. Then change “software installation“ from “Signed Only“ to “All“ and “Onlline certic check“ to “Off“.
    (In some devices the settings can be located under different menu)


    If you have still problem to install this software please check the date and time of your phone and PC. These should be same. Software installer does not work if there is mismatch in time.

  • There could be some other erros if you have not followed instruction properly
  • Please understand that some software can be installed directly to your phone by Bluetooth or PC suite. And for some phones and some softwares from Hemelix need additional steps before installation. One of this step is Symbian signed. It will take 5 minutes from you. If you can't install directly then follow this instruction.
    Software in Hemelix can be installed only Nokia S60 3rd edition, 3rd edition feature pack 1, 2 and Nokia 5th edition devices.
    Please make sure that your phone is one of these phones. If not then we can't help.
    Sometimes you may need to restart the devices after installing new software. You may retry to boot your phones. If your device belongs to one of the above catagories and still it is not working then please check this link. and report to us.
